- Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Hwang! If there’s anything wrong with your iPad — including password problems, cracked screen, broken apps, WiFi, or anything else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!
. - Do you like candy??? Do you like donuts??? Then you’re in luck! The WMS check-in program is selling CANDY all month long — every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday after school by the cafeteria. Plus, they’ll have DONUTS every Friday! Candy costs between 1 and 3-dollars, and donuts are 2-dollars, so be sure to bring some cash. All money raised will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society — an organization that helps kids with cancer. See Ms. Kia with any questions. And thanks for your support, wolves!
. - If a picture is worth a thousand words — then the WMS Yearbook is absolutely PRICELESS! The 2024 Yearbook is on sale NOW! It’s just 45-dollars to buy — and you can order online through the WMS website.
.
But fewer than 80 copies remain in stock — so make sure to get YOURS before they’re gone. Contact Ms. Briones with any questions. Don’t miss out on the memories!
. - March may be over, but the Manie Musicale de Mars — aka the March Madness of Music — is going strong!! We’ve made it to the FINAL ROUND — between “Horizon” and “Akwaba.” Who will be the champion???
.
All students in FRENCH are reminded to cast your vote for the fifteenth and FINAL ROUND. And if any non-French students are interested in the tournament, too — just go to room 220 and scan the QR code, or ask Ms. McNeese for more information. We’ll reveal the CHAMPION later this week. Vive la Musique!!
. - And finally — as you may have heard, there is going to be a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE this afternoon! Many of you will probably want to see it. But without the proper eye protection, looking at an eclipse can cause SERIOUS eye damage.
.
But we’re not going to let that happen. Today at 2:20pm, all students will be sent back to their TA classrooms —where your teachers will be passing out “solar glasses” so you can safely observe this cosmic event.
.
There won’t be another total solar eclipse for TWENTY YEARS, so you’re not gonna want to miss it. Once again, students will be returning to TA at 2:20 to get their “solar glasses.”
