  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Do you like candy??? Do you like donuts??? Then you’re in luck!  The WMS check-in program is selling CANDY all month long — every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday after school by the cafeteria.  Plus, they’ll have DONUTS every Friday!
    .
Candy costs between 1 and 3-dollars, and donuts are 2-dollars, so be sure to bring some cash.  All money raised will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society — an organization that helps kids with cancer.  See Ms. Kia with any questions.  And thanks for your support, wolves!
    .
  • Yearbook ad, 2024 -- 77 copies leftIf a picture is worth a thousand words — then the WMS Yearbook is absolutely PRICELESS!  The 2024 Yearbook is on sale NOW!  It’s just 45-dollars to buy — and you can order online through the WMS website.
    .
But fewer than 80 copies remain in stock — so make sure to get YOURS before they’re gone.  Contact Ms. Briones with any questions.  Don’t miss out on the memories!
    .
  • Manie Musicale de Mars, 2024March may be over, but the Manie Musicale de Mars — aka the March Madness of Music — is going strong!!  Nearly 6-million students from 34-countries are voting on the year’s best songs.  And YOU get a vote, too!  All students in FRENCH are reminded to cast your vote for the FOURTEENTH matchup in the Final-4.
    .
And if any non-French students are interested in the tournament, too — just go to room 220 and scan the QR code, or ask Ms. McNeese for more information. Vive la Musique!!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Thanks to EVERYONE who contributed to the Arlington Food Assistance Center last month during the Helping Hands collection drive.  Your donations helped a LOT of families-in-need.
    .
And a special congratulations to the 8TH GRADE for donating the most food drive items!  As a reward, the Helping Hands Club will be treating the entire 8th grade to a POPSICLE PARTY during lunch on May 1st.  Way to go, 8th graders, and thanks again to everyone for supporting the Arlington Food Assistance Center! [clap]
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Track and Field team — who won their first meet of the season yesterday against Kenmore Middle School:  124 to 57!
    .
Big props to 7th graders Lucas H — who set a new school record in the 800-meter; and Whitaker C — who set a new school record in the 400-meter!  And to the entire team for contributing to the victory.  Way to go, running wolves!!  [clap]
    .
  • And finally, April is Arab American Heritage Month — a time to recognize the many contributions that Arab Americans have made to this country.
    .
Today, we have a special video about how one young Arab American celebrates his culture and heritage — even in the face of adversity.
