- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - If a picture is worth a thousand words — then the WMS Yearbook is absolutely PRICELESS! The 2022 Yearbook is on sale NOW! It’s just 45-dollars to buy — and you can order online through the WMS website. But only about 20 copies remain in stock — so get one before they’re gone. Contact Mr. Schonfeld with any questions. Don’t miss out on the memories!
. - Have you ordered your class t-shirt yet? All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are reminded to go online and register for a FREE class t-shirt. All T-shirts are ADULT sizes, and the deadline to order is Monday, May 9th. If you miss the deadline, you’ll still get a shirt BUT it might not be the right size. Also, if you ordered your shirt on Monday, you MUST order it again because they were all deleted. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! The SOLs are just around the corner, so your iPad needs to be working! If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech Help Request” form through the WMS website. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution to getting you back online!
. - Attention all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel! Today is the LAST DAY of your current rotation — so make sure all of your assignments and projects are submitted by the end-of-the-day. Your new class will begin next week. See your exploratory teacher with any questions.
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Thanks to all the students and staff who “Purpled Up!” today to show their support during the Month of the Military Child.
.
Military kids and families are an important part of our community — and their sacrifice and service helps to make our country truly great. Way to go, wolf pack — and thank you, military kids!! [clap]
. - Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Swim and Dive teams — who competed in the County Championships yesterday at Swanson. Our divers did an amazing job, winning 2nd place overall. And the Swimmers did even better — taking home the 2022 County Championship!! Way to go, water wolves!! [clap]
. - Wolf Pack Pride wraps up with the WMS Track and Field team, who OBLITERATED Swanson yesterday, 129 to 43. The WMS girls led the way — nearly shutting out their opponents for the entire match. It was a great team win. Way to go, running wolves!! [clap]
. - Track and Field ends the season with a 2-and-2 record. Up next, the County Championships in May. Good luck, team!!
. - And finally — April is Autism Awareness Month. And to teach us more about what that means, we have a special video prepared by one of your classmates.
