Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Attention all students and staff! The APS “bus driver shortage” has been resolved — so there WILL be after-school activities and late bus service today. Once again, activities and the late bus are up-and-running this afternoon.

And now for an important announcement about the Technology Student Association. All TSA meetings will be CANCELLED until May 17th. Once again, there will be no TSA for the next 3-weeks. However, WOLFBOTS Robotics WILL be meeting, as usual. See Mr. Dudek with any questions.

Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders! We need a DO OVER on class T-Shirts! ALL WMS students will be receiving a FREE class t-shirt to celebrate the end-of-the-year activities in June. But there was some confusion yesterday that we need to clear up. All T-shirts are ADULT sizes. So we’ve DELETED all of yesterday’s orders — and everyone needs to order AGAIN.

To get yours, please complete the online Google Form by Monday, May 9th — located on the WMS Website and the WMS Student Info Page in Canvas. If you miss the deadline, you’ll still get a shirt BUT it might not be the right size. Once again — yesterday’s orders were deleted, so EVERYONE should go online and order their T-shirt TODAY!!

April is Arab American Heritage Month! It’s estimated that nearly 4-million Americans have Arabic roots — so this month is an opportunity to recognize the rich diversity of people who make up our shared country.
.
President Joe Biden wrote this about Arab American Heritage Month last year — “The Arab American community is essential to the fabric of our nation, and I am honored to be part of this celebration of Arab American culture, heritage, and contributions to American society.”
.
In other words — Arab American history IS American history.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The All-Virginia Choir put on an AMAZING show in Richmond last weekend — and it featured some AMAZINGLY talented students from WMS.
.
Congratulations to Chloe O., Lucy C., Harper H. and Natalynn P. — who joined hundreds of the most talented middle school singers from all over Virginia in this 3-day musical event. Way to go, singing wolves!! [clap]

And finally — it’s been 2-months since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the end is nowhere in sight.
