- We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE! HUNDREDS of rising 6th graders visited WMS from local elementary schools yesterday. You may have seen them roaming the halls, or popping-in to classrooms throughout the day. Well, the event was a HUGE success — and it was only made possibly by the hard work and contributions of our students and staff.

A big THANK YOU to the 7th grade tour guides; to the music program, cheerleaders, and drama club for their performances; to the teachers whose classrooms were “invaded”; to Mr. Tuttle and the admin for organizing; and of course — to ALL of our students for making the kids feel welcome in our school. Way to go, wolves!! [clap]
. - Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS sports program. The Williamsburg Swim Team will be attending the Arlington County Swimming Championship TODAY at 4:30 at the Wakefield High School pool. Swimmers will be competing in numerous events against the some of the best competition in Northern Virginia. So let’s root them on to victory, and Be a Part of the Pride! Make a splash, swimming wolves!! [clap]
. - The placement exam for next year’s “Spanish for Fluent Speakers” class is scheduled for TODAY during Wolf Time and 1st period in the Wolf Den. All those students who signed-up for the class should report to the library immediately following the Morning Announcements. Buena Suerte!
. - The Spring Play rehearsal has been CANCELLED for this week. But practice will resume next MONDAY after school in the auditorium. Be aware that next week’s rehearsals will run until 6pm, so be sure to bring a snack. See Mr. Brown with any questions.
. - And now, this. Calling all students, teachers and staff! A few important reminders about school policy….
…So again, remember to WALK when moving between classes, and chewing gum is strictly prohibited.

Who wants pizza? The WMS Model UN Club will hosting a pizza fundraiser this FRIDAY after school in the Main Lobby and by the Cafeteria. You can get a slice of pizza AND a cookie for just 2-dollars — and all money raised will go to support the Model UN and its future conferences. Come hungry!
. - The WMS School Store is OPEN FOR BUSINESS!! Pre-orders are now being accepted for the new grade-level “School Spirit” t-shirts. They’re 18 or 20 dollars to buy. Just fill out the form and return it to your TA teacher by this FRIDAY — or bring it to the school store on Friday during Wolf Time. So get your School Spirit ‘T’ — and Be a Part of the Pride!!
. - “Every HERO needs a squad!!” The WMS Pennies for Patients fundraiser is going strong — raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and its fight against cancer. Keep the donations coming — because whichever TA collects the most money will get a free pizza and ice cream party!!

Plus: be sure to buy a ticket for the Gift Basket Raffle — on sale this week during all grade-level lunches! These amazing baskets are filled with goodies and gift cards — just for YOU! Winners will be announced next TUESDAY, and all money raised from the raffle will be added to our Pennies for Patients total. See Ms. Kia at the Check-In Program with any questions — and support the Pennies for Patients fundraiser!
