- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - April is Autism Awareness Month! In support of this event, WMS is hosting an “Emoji Lollipop” fundraiser for the Dan Marino Foundation — a nonprofit organization that works to empower individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Emoji Lollipops are just 1-dollar each — and you can buy them every morning before school outside of the cafeteria from now until next Tuesday. Thanks for supporting Autism Awareness!!
. - Calling all jokesters, wise-crackers, and class clowns! Do you think you’re funny? Then PROVE IT!! If your TA would like to tell a joke on the Morning Announcements, just ask your TA teacher to sign-up using the GoogleForm that went out this week, or contact Mr. Schonfeld for more information. Let’s see if you can make us laugh, Williamsburg! Ba Boom, Ching!!
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Teachers have selected this month’s Wolves With Character Award winners — for demonstrating outstanding “trustworthiness” in their daily lives. Just take a look at the screen to see all the deserving honorees from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. You’ll be getting a certificate this morning — and free popsicles at lunch. Congratulations, Wolves With Character!! [clap].
. - Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS track team for their BIG win against Dorothy Hamm yesterday — 88 to 70. It was a hard fought meet, but the WMS girls came up HUGE — pacing the team and securing our first win of the year. Way to go, running wolves!! [clap]
. - Wolf Pack Pride wraps up with 6th grader Mason M. — who won an Honorable Mention Award in the “One Earth Young Filmmakers Contest” last month. His film — Stop Pebble Mine — recounts the story of a recent clash between developers and conservationists in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Way to go, Mason!! [clap]
.
And now — we get to see his film for ourselves! Roll Tape!!
