- Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Attention all students! Starting TODAY — all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be starting their new Wolf Time rotations. So be sure to check with your TA teachers to find out where you’ll be going. Once again, the new Wolf Time rotation begins today!
. - Bump, set, SPIKE! The Yorktown Girls Volleyball Team is hosting a “Green Day” tonight from 6 to 8pm at the YHS gym. This special event is for rising 8th and 9th graders who are interested in playing girls volley ball next year. No experience is necessary. Just bring a water bottle and sneakers. See Mr. McBride with any questions about “Green Day” or girls volleyball. Serve it up, Williamsburg!
. - The Model UN Club will meet today in room C105 during ASP 1. Participants will be discussing the upcoming conference at Washington & Liberty High School, and getting permission slips for the event. There will also be a “FUN MUN” topic for all! See Mr. McDermott with any questions.
. - April is Autism Awareness Month! In support of this event, WMS is hosting an “Emoji Lollipop” fundraiser for the Dan Marino Foundation — a nonprofit organization that works to empower individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Emoji Lollipops are just 1-dollar each — and you can buy them every morning before school outside of the cafeteria from now until next Tuesday. Thanks for supporting Autism Awareness!!
