- We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE! The WMS wresting team did our school proud at the County Championships at Kenmore last Wednesday. The team took THIRD PLACE overall — it’s best finish ever! Among the weight classes, three wrestlers took 3rd, three got 2nd, and one got FIRST! Congratulations to everyone for a great season. Way to go, wrestling wolves!! [clap]
- WOLF PACK PRIDE continues with the WMS Model UN Club. The MUNners took center stage at the Sidwell Friends Conference this weekend — and played key roles in numerous debates and resolutions. Great work, MUNner wolves!! [clap] The next Model UN meeting is scheduled for this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 202. See Ms. Carlson with any questions.
- Calling all Cheerleaders!! The upcoming “Cheer Showcase” at Kenmore Middle School has been RESCHEDULED for TOMORROW. Due to the change, your LAST PRACTICE will now be held TODAY during ASP 1 in the gym. Attendance is MANDATORY, and don’t be late! See Ms. Sutphin with any questions.
- On your marks, get set, GO! Tryouts for the WMS Track and Field team begin TODAY after school. Student athletes can compete in a range of events — from short to long distance running, hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put and MORE! You must have a physical on file to participate. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
- The Technology Student Association — also known as TSA — will NOT be meeting today. But meetings will resume NEXT MONDAY with plenty of STEM technology fun! See Mr. Dudek with any questions.
- Who wants pizza?! The WMS Model UN Club will be selling pizza this FRIDAY after school — in the Main Lobby and by the Cafeteria. It’s Just 2-dollars for a slice and cookie. All proceeds will go to fund upcoming Model UN conferences and activities. Get it while it’s hot!
- The 2016-2017 WMS yearbook is on sale NOW!! Just get an order form from your TA teacher — or better yet, get yours ONLINE by clicking the “Order Year Book” link on the WMS homepage. Supplies are limited, so get yours before they’re gone. The WMS Yearbook — Don’t miss out on the memories!
- Who’s feeling “crafty?” Grab your art supplies and watch this screen — because WOLF-TV’s Ria K. says EVERYONE can learn to “Do It Yourself!”
