  • Calling all Math Lovers! Math Counts will meet TODAY during lunch and after school. The lunch meetings are: 6th grade in room 203, 7th grade in room 134, and 8th grade in room WW3. The after school meeting will be in WW4 for all students. You can “count” on it!
  • Get on your WOLF-gear, everybody, because next week is SPIRIT WEEK at WMS!!  Here’s the schedule of events:  we start with Pajama Day Monday — then Movie and TV Tuesday — Mismatch Wednesday — Mustache Thursday — and White and Blackout Friday.  Show your school-spirit and be a Part of the Pride!!
  • Do you like current events, politics, and debate? Then we’ve got the perfect activity for you!  The WMS Model UN Club will be hositng the first ever WOLFMUN — a half-day conference right here at Williambsurg — on Saturday, April 29th.  WMS students are STRONGLY encouraged to attend.  It’s just a 1-day commitment to see what MUNning is all about.  See Ms. Carlson in room 202 for more information and to register, or visit their website at wolfmun.wordpress.com — or follow the link through the Morning Announcements blog.

  • Calling all film-makers and video-jockeys! The Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2017 competition. To submit your video and application, just follow the link on the WOLF-TV section of the WMS website. The deadline is April 3rd. Entries will be aired at the festival on June 10th — where you could win medals, certificates, prizes, and even scholarships! Now go make some movie magic!
  • The WMS March Madness “Tournament of Books” has reached the Final Four!! To learn more about each contestant, just scan the QR codes by the cafeteria. Then, submit your picks by this FRIDAY using the Tournament of Books QR code, or just go to the WOLF-TV section on the WMS website. May the best book win!!
