  • Today we will be following the “anchor” C-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today.  Again, this is an “anchor” C-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Calling all Scholastic Art Competition WINNERS!  Please come to the Art Display outside of the Library on THURSDAY at 8am — Mr. Skryzpek will be meeting you there for your Yearbook Picture!  Once again Scholastic Art Competition winners should go to the library display immediately following the announcements on THURSDAY for your yearbook picture.  See Mr. Skrypek with any questions.

  • Hey, 6th and 7th graders!  If you signed-up for the YEARBOOK class on your CRF for next year, you must complete the additional application by this FRIDAY in order to be considered.  And make sure it’s signed by a parent!  See Mr. Schonfeld or Ms. Kenney with any questions.
    .
  • Give a Helping Hand to our four-legged friends.  The WMS Helping Hands Club is holding a supply drive for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington from now until March 14th.  Donations can include pet food, toys, leashes, or so much more.  For the complete “wish list” just go to awla.org.  Collection bins are located in the main lobby. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! The 8th grade SOLs are just around the corner — and your iPad NEEDS to be working.  If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, battery life, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech. Help Request” form through the WMS website. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution! So submit today — and get yourself back online.

  • 2022 March Madness Tournament of Books, Sweet 16Voting has begun for the 6th annual WMS March Madness Tournament of Books — Graphic Novel Edition!!  Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course to cast your vote for the Sweet-16.  The winners for the next round will be announced next week.  And if your TA hasn’t completed a class bracket yet, try to get it done by TODAY to be eligible for a prize.  The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS Girls Basketball Team wrapped-up its season yesterday with a home-game against our big-time rival, Dorothy Hamm Middle School, but came up just short — losing the game 19 to 36.
    .
But still, the team played tough to the end — led by 8th graders Abby, Kendall, Ciara, Emily, and Rea who did a fantastic job on Offense and Defense.  And special recognition to goes to Rea R. — the overall scorer of the season by averaging 12-points per game.  Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]
