- It’s time once again for Parent-Teacher Conferences! Conferences will be held “Arena style” TONIGHT from 4:30 – 7:30 PM, and on FRIDAY morning from 7:30 to 11:30 AM. Tell your parents that they can meet with ONE or ALL of your classroom teachers. No appointments are necessary, but meetings are limited to 5 minutes each. Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!
. - Due to tonight’s event, all after school activities are CANCELLED for today — clubs, intramurals, and library — and there will be NO late bus. Students are asked to please exit the building immediately following the final bell. However — please note that the Swim and Dive meets WILL still occur this afternoon — at the W-and-L and Yorktown pools, respectively — both against Jefferson. Good luck, water wolves!!
. - SALVETE Latin Students! Today is the National Latin Exam. Latin II students should report to the WMS Library at 8:30. Latin I students should report to the Library at 10:48. All test-takers are reminded to leave your cell phones and iPads in your lockers — again, there are NO electronics allowed in the testing area. See Ms. Gephardt with any questions. BONA FORTUNA!
. - On your marks, get set, GO!! How would YOU like to be a part of the 2-time defending champion middle school track team??? Interested athletes are invited to an informational meeting for the WMS Track Team — next MONDAY, March 11th, during ASP 1 in the main gym. Meet the coach, some returning runners, and learn everything you need to know before tryouts begin on March 18th. Attendance is not mandatory — but it is HIGHLY recommended. See Mr. Treble with any questions.
. - The 3rd annual WMS March Madness Tournament of Books has arrived! Just fill out a bracket with your TA, Wolf Time, or academic class — then starting on March 11th, you can go online and vote! Good luck, wolves, and may the best book WIN!
. - It’s time to “Tidy Up,” Williamsburg! This month, we’re hopping on the KonMari Bandwagon as the WMS Kindness Club launches its “Clean Out Your Closet Campaign.” From now until March 22nd, students and staff are encouraged to donate clean, gently used, and quality clothing to “The Clothesline for Arlington Kids.” Collection bins are located outside of the library. Donate to the Kindness Club fundraiser — and SPARK JOY for those in need!
. - 2-4-6-8 who do we appreciate? CHEERLEADERS! Stay tuned for an important announcement from the WMS Cheerleaders — who are collecting toiletries and feminine products for Arlingtonians in-need from now until next Wednesday. Check it out!
