• Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• Spring Break is just around the corner — which means it’s almost time for Locker Clean-Up Day!!  This FRIDAY, all students will be cleaning-up their lockers during TA. Most importantly, we need to make sure that there is NO FOOD left in your locker over Spring Break. We don’t want to get ants!  Once again, Locker Clean-Up Day is this FRIDAY following the Morning Announcements.

• To accommodate Locker Clean-Up Day, the Wolf Paw Drawing is being POSTPONED until the Friday AFTER Spring Break. But that also means you have until THIS Friday to turn-in your Wolf Paws.  Once again, the Wolf Paw Drawing is now being held AFTER Spring Break — so you’ve got a little more time to turn in your Paws.  Good luck!

• And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch.  Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus!  See Ms. Walten in the office with any questions.

• Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! The 11th annual Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2023 competition. Just follow the link in today’s Morning Announcements Blog to submit your video and application.  The submission deadline is this FRIDAY — and the Festival itself will take place on May 4th at Kenmore Middle school. See Mr. Schonfeld for more information.  Now go make some movie magic!

• TODAY is your last chance to vote for the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND of the 7th annual March Madness Tournament of Books!!  Our final matchup is The Hunger Games versus Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone!  Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course to cast your vote.  Then we’ll announce the winner on FRIDAY.  The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!
