The 6th annual WMS March Madness Tournament of Books — Graphic Novel Edition — is about to begin!! TA teachers will be sharing the Sweet-16 entries with you this week — and then all TAs are encouraged to complete their own class “bracket.” Voting will start next week on March 7th — and will continue each week until we have our winner. To see the detailed bracket for yourselves, just go to the WMS Library Canvas course. May the best book win!

Give a Helping Hand to our four-legged friends. The WMS Helping Hands Club is holding a supply drive for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington from now until March 14th. Donations can include pet food, toys, leashes, or so much more. For the complete “wish list” just go to awla.org. Collection bins are located in the main lobby. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

Listen up, Williamsburgers!! Do you have blazing speed? Can you leap over buildings in a single bound? Then you’ve got to check out the 3-time Defending County Champion WMS Track-and-Field team! There will be an interest meeting for Track-and-Field next TUESDAY right after school in the gym. Attendees will get all the information they’ll need about the team and upcoming tryouts. See Mr. Treble with any questions. I’ll race you there!!

If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, battery life, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech. Help Request” form through the WMS website. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution! So submit today — and get yourself back online.

It’s time for Parent-Teacher Conferences!! TODAY from 4:30 to 7:30pm, and FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30am, parents and guardians are invited to meet VIRTUALLY with all of your teachers on MS Teams. .

Just tell your folks to register for a slot using “Sign-Up Genius” through the WMS website, or ask your TA teacher for more information. Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS Wrestling Team won a nail biter on the road against Dorothy Hamm yesterday — 36 to 34. Big props to Leo S. who had an amazing comeback victory; to Henry S. for earning his first win; and to Peter M. who remained UNDEFEATED this year!

The team is 4-and-1 going into the County Tournament next Thursday. Be sure to wish them luck! Way to go, wrestling wolves!! [clap]
