We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE! Big news from the WMS PTA fundraiser! Thanks to the generous donations from our Williamsburg community, we have officially reached our fundraising goal for the year! That money will go to things like social events, Wolf Paw prizes, and field trips .Way to go, wolves!! [clap].

But that’s not all we have to cheer about this morning — because there’s also: DONUTS!! For every 10-dollars your parents donated to the WMS PTA this week, your TA was entered into a special drawing. And now — we’ve got the winner. The recipient of the SECOND and FINAL Donut Drop Drawing is: Ms. Briones’s 6th grade TA!! Congratulations, Ms. Briones’s TA will be receiving a free donut breakfast this morning during Wolf Time. Hooray for DONUTS!!

TODAY is the 3rd Quarter WOLF PACK LUNCH!! Your teachers have selected honorees from every grade and every team. These students embody all the best that Williamsburg has to offer, and have earned themselves a free pizza lunch with our WMS administrators — 6th grade in room 231; 7th grade in room 102; and 8th grade in room 107. Please DO NOT go to the cafeteria first — just go directly to your pizza lunch. We can’t have the party without you! See Ms. Mays or your TA teacher with any questions.

It’s your LAST DAY to VOTE for the March Madness Tournament of Books — Final Four! So check out the match-ups and make your picks using the QR codes by the main office, or follow the link in today’s Morning Announcements Blog. There’s a lot of great books out there, but only ONE can be the CHAMPION! Vote TODAY in the WMS Tournament of Books!!

Who Wants Pizza? The WMS Model UN Club will be hosting a pizza fundraiser TODAY immediately after school — located in the main lobby and by the cafeteria. Get a slice and a cookie for just 2-dollars a plate! All proceeds will go to fund MUNner activities and scholarships. Come celebrate the end of the quarter with some Pizza!

The Kindness Club will be meeting next TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room 201. Everyone is welcome to attend, even if you’ve never been before. It’s ALL HANDS ON DECK as the Kindness Club teams-up with the Check-In program for their upcoming fundraiser. Any question? Please see Ms. Schaefer, Ms. Zeller or Mr. Johnson.

Hey, 7th grade — How would YOU like to be on the Yearbook Staff next year? Then you need to act fast — because TODAY is your LAST CHANCE to apply. This select group of students meet during TA and Wolf Time all year long — taking pictures, learning graphic design, and creating a keepsake for the ages. And while it’s NOT a class for a grade, it’s still a highly rewarding club and resume booster. Just swing by room 137 for more information and to get an application from Ms. Kontos. The WMS Yearbook — Be a Part of the Pride!!

And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Argenal in the office with any questions.
