• Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• Calling all students!  The WMS Yearbook is now taking pictures of all clubs and extra-curricular activities. Here’s the schedule for the next week:
  .
  TODAY is Sister Circle in room 124 at 8am.  If you are in Sister Circle, please go to your photo shoot immediately following the Morning Announcements. Also TODAY is Board Games in room 1A6, and the GSA in room 106 — both at 2:45.
  .
  TUESDAY is Chess in room 231; Model UN in room C105; Inked in room C101; and the Rubik’s Cube Club in the Library — all at 2:45.
  .
  And WEDNESDAY is Spotlight Women’s Sports in room 231 at 8am.
  .
  Members of those groups should try to get there ASAP so they’re not left out of the picture! Check with your club sponsor or Mr. Schonfeld with any questions. Stay tuned for more information about additional club pictures coming soon.

• Believe it or not, but the 3rd Quarter is rapidly coming to a close! And you know what that means: it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!!! That’s right — the 3rd Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing is scheduled for this FRIDAY during TA. But you MUST submit your Wolf Paws no later than WEDNESDAY to be eligible. And if you’d like a sneak-peak at the prizes, go check-out the display case by the library. Remember — turn in your Paws by this Wednesday for a change to win!

• Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! The 11th annual Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2023 competition. Just follow the link in today’s Morning Announcements Blog to submit your video and application.  The submission deadline is this FRIDAY — and the Festival itself will take place on May 4th at Kenmore Middle school. See Mr. Schonfeld for more information.  Now go make some movie magic!

• The 7th annual March Madness Tournament of Books has made it to the Championship Round!!  Our final matchup is The Hunger Games versus Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone!  Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course by this THURSDAY to cast your vote.  Then we’ll announce the winner on FRIDAY.  The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!
