- Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And for Wolf Time this week, everyone should go to your TA classroom. Again, this is a B-Day — and go to your TA classroom for Wolf Time. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!! All students must bring their iPads to PE this week and next week for Physical Fitness Testing! When fitness testing is complete, you can lock your iPad in your PE locker. But DON’T FORGET them after class! Once again, everyone should bring your iPad to PE.
. - The Spotlight Women’s Sports Club will be hosting a bake sale fundraiser — TODAY after school in the main lobby and by the cafeteria. All proceeds will go the the Women’s Sports Foundation — which is dedicated to supporting female athletes in sports and in life. So come to the bake sale TODAY, and celebrate women and girls in sports!!
. - Everybody in the pool!! The WMS Swim and Diving teams are getting ready for a new season. Interested athletes should complete the Google Form located outside of the Activities Office by February 21st.
. - Calling all artists!! The new semester of Act 2 Art will be starting on Monday, February 13th. Registered students are reminded that you MUST attend the first day of class. And if you haven’t registered, what are you waiting for??? There’s still space available. Just see Ms. Hogwood during your grade level lunch for more information, or scan the QR code to sign up!
. - The WMS Homecoming Dance — Winter Yeti-Land — is scheduled for next Friday, February 10th from 6 to 8pm in the gym. There will be music, dancing, pictures, prizes, and lots of good snacks. To attend, just complete the free online registration form by Monday, February 6th. Don’t delay, get your ticket to the Yeti-Land Dance TODAY!!
. - And speaking of Homecoming — We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU?! Next week is SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS — leading up to Homecoming and the Yeti-Land Dance!

Here’s the rundown: Monday is PJ Day; Tuesday is Teacher & Student Switch Day; Wednesday is Twin Day; Thursday is Sports Day; and finally, Friday is Class Colors Day — 6th grade blue, 7th grade white, and 8th grade black.

. - Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Wrestling team who won their match on the road against Kenmore yesterday — 49 to 29. The Wolves won 8 of their 15 matches via pin, and 8th graders Emir B, Conor C, and Jackman F. had stellar performances. Way to go, wrestling wolves! [clap]
. - Wolf Pack Pride wraps up with the Boys Basketball team and their big win over Kenmore at home yesterday — 41 to 13. Sam R. and James D. lead the scoring, while Matt L. and Garon C. pulled down several clutch rebounds. Great effort by the entire team! Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]
. - And finally, February is Black History Month — a time to celebrate the many contributions that African Americans have made to this country.
