Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6— so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

It’s time to start thinking about NEXT year’s classes! Course Request Forms are due TODAY. If you haven’t turned-in your CRF, please do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! Remember — these decisions MATTER! If you don’t pick your classes, someone ELSE will pick them for you. See your class counselor with any questions.

Attention MUNNERS!! If you are attending the Model UN conference on Saturday, please meet Mr. McDermott in the lobby of Dorothy Hamm Middle School no later than 8:50 AM. The opening ceremonies begin at 9 o’clock. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

Do you have a need? A need for speed? If so, the WMS Track and Field team wants YOU!! There will be an informational meeting for Track and Field on Tuesday, February 27th after school in the Gym. Learn about the team, different events, meet the coaches, and have all of your questions answered! And if you want to join the team, you must submit your physical by Friday, March 8th. See Ms. Hogwood or Coach Treble with any questions.

Calling all jokesters, wise-crackers, and class clowns! Do you think you’re funny? Then PROVE IT!! If your TA would like to tell a joke on the Morning Announcements, just ask your TA teacher to sign-up using the GoogleForm that went out last week, or contact Mr. Schonfeld for more information. Ready, set, READ!! It’s nearly time for the 8th annual March Madness Tournament of Books!! This year’s contenders are a mix of old-time favorites and new titles that are burning up the book charts.

Here’s what to do: this week, please work as a TA to create your own Sweet-16 bracket. Then every week in March you’ll get to vote — and the winning TA will get a prize! Voting begins next Monday. For more information, go the library Canvas course. May the best book win!!
