  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The Boys Basketball Team continued their stellar play last Thursday, beating Kenmore Middle School 58 to 20 in the WMS gym.  Big shout-outs to Ben C., Jackson B., and Jack R. for their awesome play on both ends of the floor — and to Dallis W. for a SICK buzzer beater to cap off the game.  The Wolves look to stay UNDEFEATED as they travel to Jefferson today for their last regular season game of the year.  Go get ’em, baller wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • Meanwhile, the Boys Wrestling Team fought for all they were worth against Jefferson last week — but took a tough loss in the end. Some big individual performances, though, as Keenan O., Jon C., and Joe K. all had tremendous wins in their matches.  And a number of 6th and 7th grade wrestlers did a great job in their first competitive bouts of the year.  Way to go, wrestling wolves — you’ll get ’em next time!! [clap]

  • It’s never too soon to start planning for your future! The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is sponsoring “College Camp” on March 3rd at GW University. This exclusive, half-day event is designed to help Latino students – and their families — prepare, plan, and pay for a college education. See Ms. Cameron for more information about how to sign-up for “College Camp.” Your future starts NOW!
    .
  • It’s time to share the love, Williamsburg, for the “Have a Heart” donation drive! The WMS Kindness Club is collecting new or gently-used towels and blankets this month. All donations will go to help local animal shelters, which house THOUSANDS of homeless pets. It’s the saddest thing, EVER — but you can help!! Collection bins are located in the main lobby by the library. So “have a heart” and “do your part” to support our furry friends in need!
    .
  • The after-school INKED CLUB has been CANCELLED for today — but meeting will resume next week.  See Ms. Martin with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Argenal in the office with any questions.
