  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Smile for the camera!  The WMS Yearbook is wrapping-up TA pictures TODAY for any remaining classrooms that needed make-ups or retakes. Photographers will come to your classroom following the morning announcements. Contact Mr. Schonfeld with any questions — and say CHEESE!!

  • Calling all Munners!  The WMS Model UN Club will be meeting TODAY  in room C105 during ASP1. The agenda includes news about upcoming conferences and practice in researching.  See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

  • Calling all Mathletes! There will be an online “Math Counts” competition this THURSDAY. Contact Mr. Mencarini If you’d like to participate — or with any other questions.  Hooray for MATH!!

  • Attention all Divers and Swimmers! If you’d like to compete in the upcoming season, your physical must be submitted by this FRIDAY.  Also, please be aware that there is a NEW VERSION of the online google form that EVERYONE must complete by February 22nd.  Once again, even if you’ve turned-in a previous version of the Google Form, there is a NEW one with new questions that everyone must submit.  It’s located on the swim page of the WMS website.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • And now for some important information about HEALTH and SAFETY. Students and staff are reminded to PLEASE complete your online “qualtrics screening” every day before school.  And once inside the building, please wear your mask at all times, maintain social distancing, and wash your hands frequently.

    These measures are recommended by the CDC — and will help to keep our entire community safe.  Thanks for your help, wolves!!

  • And finally — February is Black History Month, and APS is celebrating the many contributions African Americans have made in our schools, our community, and our country.

    Did you know that just a few short decades ago, entire neighborhoods in Arlington were segregated according to race? This is the story of Halls Hill, and the struggle for equality right here in our community.  Roll Tape!!
