  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Calling all SIBLINGS!  The WMS Yearbook is featuring a special section this year for all brothers, sisters, and of course — TWINS who go to school together here at Williamsburg.  If you’d like to be included, come WITH YOUR SIBLING to the yearbook photo shoot — this THURSDAY or FRIDAY in the Library during TA.  See Mr. Schonfeld with any questions — and say cheese!!
    .
  • Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech. Help Request” form through the WMS website. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution! So submit today — and get yourself back online.

  • Did you know that over 12 million toothbrushes and COUNTLESS beauty products end up in landfills and oceans every year? It’s creating an environmental catastrophe!  To help this worldwide issue, WMS is starting a recycling drive!  Students and staff are encouraged to bring in their used dental, hair care, and beauty products — and drop them off in the designated bins outside of room 115. Everything we collect throughout the year will be sent to a special recycling facility. See Ms. Warden with any questions. Let’s make a difference, Williamsburg!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  Big news from the music department — 19 Williamsburg students auditioned and were selected for the District 12 Honors Choir this year.  They joined with hundreds of the best singers from around Arlington and Falls Church in a pair of amazing performances at Washington-and-Liberty High School last weekend.  Congratulations to:  6th grader Chloe O!
    .
    7th graders Maggie B., Maysie B., Amelia W., Kate S., Penelope C., George P., Drew W., Libby S., and Ruby H!
    .
And to 8th graders Julia H., Eleni G., Mary G., John T., Alannah H., Igrid O., Maddie K., Angelina Y., and Umi A!  Be sure to give them big props if you see them in the halls this week.  Way to go, musical wolves!! [clap]

  • And finally today — just before Winter Break, our school was treated to a trio of concerts from the WMS music department — and it was show to remember!  Student-reporters Jack R. and Shannon H. took a listen — and here’s what they heard.  Roll tape!!
