It’s a brand new year at WMS — and we’ve got a brand new policy for 6th and 7th grade students! Starting TODAY, you may use a drawstring “cinch sack” to help carry small items between classes — such as pencil pouches and water bottles.

You can either use your own cinch sack from home, or the “Williamsburg” bag that will be issued to students in TA. It may not be a backpack… but at least it’s SOMETHING! Please see your grade level administrator with any questions.

Dribble, shoot, SWISH!! Tryouts for the WMS girls basketball team begin TODAY after school in the gym. Athletes should come dressed and ready to play — because you gonna be bawlin’!! All participants MUST have a current physical on file. Please see Ms. Boyers with any questions.

Takedown, reversal — PIN! The WMS wrestling season is set to begin! New and experienced wrestlers are invited to the first official Wrestling Team meeting — TODAY during ASP 1 in the auxiliary gym. This year’s goal — the County Championship! Please see Coach Hicks with any questions.

Attention Model UN Club!! The Spring Season kicks-off with a meeting this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 202. MUNners will be gearing-up for a pair of upcoming events: the Gar-Field and Williams & Mary conferences. Please see Mrs. Carlson with any questions.
