Welcome to SPIRIT WEEK! All week long — the Williamsburg SCA is challenging YOU to show your Wolf Pack Pride and participate in our daily “themed” contest.

Thanks to all the students and staff who are wearing their jammies today for Pajama Day. And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Tuesday is Twin Day; Wednesday is Wacky Hair and Hat Day; Thursday is Sports Day; and Friday is Ugly Sweater Day — a holiday tradition. Let’s have some fun and show some spirit, wolves!!

Sister Circle will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 233. There will be a special guest speaker who’s an EXPERT on 21st century leadership skills — so you won’t want to miss it! And be sure to bring a friend! Please see Ms. Pointer with any questions.

Need help with Spanish? The Yorktown Spanish Honor Society is back — offering FREE tutoring TOMORROW during ASP 2 in room WW5. Get extra help with grammar and vocab — and everything you need to succeed. Just sign up with your Spanish teacher to attend, or see Senora Stewart with any questions. Hasta pronto!

All black and latino middle school boys are invited to join the “Boys Cohort” — a new club where you can meet new people, and learn how to be a LEADER in your community. The first meeting is scheduled for TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room 233. Allies are welcome, too! Please see Ms. Pointer with any questions.

There will be a mandatory SCA meeting for all officers and reps — this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 215. Please see Mr. Peacock or Mr. Tagert with any questions.

Latinas Leading Tomorrow is meeting THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 214. Come for a conversation with like-minded students about empowerment and “achieving the dream!” Please see Ms. Pointer with any questions.

All “SWATT” Team meetings are CANCELLED for the rest of December. But beginning in January 2017, SWATT will meet every THURSDAY during grade level lunches. Please see Ms. Solomon with any questions.

The Model UN Pizza Fundraiser was such a hit last Friday afternoon — that they’re doing it AGAIN! For the last time in 2016 — this Friday is PIZZA FRIDAY at WMS. Go to the main lobby or the cafeteria entrance immediately following the bell, and get a slice and a cookie for just 2-dollars All proceeds will help to pay for upcoming Model UN conferences. Come hungry!
