Calling all athletes! The WMS wrestling and boys basketball seasons are starting soon. Interested players must turn-in your physicals by December 16th. Wrestling practices begin on January 3rd. There are NO TRYOUTS for wrestling, and EVERYONE is welcome to join! But there are tryouts for boys basketball, which are also scheduled to begin on January 3rd. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions about wrestling or boys basketball.

All the best books are on sale NOW!! Just two days remain for the Scholastic Book Fair in the WMS library. Students can visit before TA, during lunch, and after school. See our school librarians for more information. Hooray for books!!

We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU?! The Williamsburg SCA is PUMPED to announced our Winter Break Spirit WEEK!! Every day next week, students and staff are encouraged to get into the SPIRIT and dress up with the daily theme.

Here’s the rundown: Monday, is Switch it Up Day — students dress like teachers, teachers dress like students. Tuesday is Character Day — from your favorite book or movie. Wednesday is Sports Day — support your favorite team. Then comes Throwback Thursday — it’s a blast from the past. And finally, Friday is everyone’s favorite holiday tradition — Ugly Sweater Day!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS Band and Chorus performed their Winter Concerts this Tuesday and Wednesday — and they were both AMAZING shows!! Congratulations to Mr. Edwards, Ms. McTavish, and all of our incredibly talented student-musicians for a job well done. Way to go, musical wolves!! [clap]

The final installments of our Winter Concert Series are next week. On Wednesday, it’s the WMS Orchestra at 7pm in the auditorium. And then on Friday, ALL of our musical groups will be performing for us in a special assembly during the day. What a perfect way to ring in the holidays!!

Wolf Pack Pride continues with the girls basketball team — who defeated Gunston on Tuesday: 54 to 14. Caroline and Mila scored 12 points each. And Fiona, Gigi, Ava, and Ainsley took charge on defense.
