Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

We’ve reached the last day of Spirit Week here at WMS! Thanks to all of the students and staff who showed their WOLF PACK PRIDE for “Ugly Sweater Day!” — because UGLY never looked so good!!

And thanks, once again, to everyone who participated all week long. You’ve got spirit, yes you do!

There’s something BIG and LOUD happening in school today: the WMS “Winter Concert” — featuring performances by our entire WMS music program. It’s the perfect way to usher in the holidays!
.
Each grade-level will have its own assembly. Here’s the schedule: 8th grade during 2nd period, 7th grade during 4th period, and 6th grade during 6th period. Before the show, please report to class to take attendance, and then your classroom teacher will escort you to the auditorium.

Books and backpacks are NOT allowed — so be sure to leave them in your classroom. And remember to be RESPECTFUL and SUPPORTIVE of your peers. Enjoy the show, wolves!!

Calling all athletes! Anyone interested in trying out for the upcoming Wresting or Girls Basketball seasons MUST sign-up using the Google Form on the WMS website under each sports’ TAB. Also, your “sports physical” must be submitted by TODAY. Both new seasons begin right after Winter Break — so don’t miss out! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

Calling all members of the 7th grade ORCHESTRA! Please report to the Main Lobby immediately following the Morning Announcement today for a SPECIAL EVENT!! Once again, 7th grade Orchestra, come to the main lobby right after the announcements. Ms. Cahn will meet you there.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to our boys Basketball Team — who wrapped up their season yesterday with a BIG WIN on the home court against Kenmore…. 39 to 14. Big props to Alex O. — scoring 4-points in his debut. And to the whole team for playing hard all season long. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

And a special shout-out to all of our 8th grade basket-ballers who played in their FINAL middle school game yesterday. Justin, Sammy, Jack, Peter, and Costas — you should all be very proud of what you’ve accomplished. And we know you’ll be GREAT hooping-it-up at Yorktown next year. Way to go, 8th graders!! [clap]
