  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Spirit Week -- 2019We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU!!! It’s SPIRIT WEEK at WMS! Thanks to all the students and staff who showed their Wolf Pack Pride and dressed as their doppelganger for TWIN DAY!

    And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Wednesday is WINTER WHITE OUT DAY — so dress in white from head-toe; Thursday is BOOK or MOVIE CHARACTER DAY — paying tribute to our favorite fictional characters; and finally, Friday is our favorite holiday tradition: UGLY SWEATER DAY — the tackier the better. Get into the school spirit on Spirit Week, wolves — and BE A PART OF THE PRIDE!!

  • Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. It’s your final TAB meeting of 2019!  So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!

  • Calling all math lovers! Math Counts will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room WW 1. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to do math problems, play math games, and perform many other math activities. It’s all math — all the time at Math Counts!! See Mr. Mencarini for more information.

  • Take down… Reversal… PIN!! The WMS Wrestling Team is gearing up for a new season. See if you have what it takes to be the best pound-for-pound wrestler in the school — or even the county! Interested athletes are invited to the informational meeting on THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room WW1. All are welcome — and no experience is necessary. Just be sure to get your physical turned-in to Ms. Hogwood. PRACTICES will begin following Winter Break. See Mr. Mencarini with any questions.

  • Calling all participants in the upcoming Virginia Junior Academy of Science! Be sure to visit Ms. Warden in room 115 BEFORE leaving for Winter Break — she has some important information for you.  Again, everyone who plans to attend VJAS in 2020 needs to see Ms. Warden this week.  Thanks, science wolves!!
