  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS girls basketball team played their final home game of the year yesterday, and their skills were on full display — defeating Kenmore 47-17. Props to top scorers Rae R. and Olivia N. — and kudos to the defensive-duo of Kendall A. and Fi M. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Orchestra who performed a WONDERFUL Winter Concert for friends, family, and community members last night.  They received a well-deserved STANDING OVATION from the crowd.  Way to go, musical wolves!!
    .
The Winter Concert Series wraps-up TODAY with the biggest show yet.  The entire music department will be presenting a trio of performances for the school during grade-level elective periods — 8th grade at 8:20; 7th grade at 9:45; and 6th grade at 1:10.  Remember to go to your classroom first, then your teacher will escort you to the auditorium. Books and backpacks are NOT allowed — so leave them in your classroom. And please remember to be respectful and supportive of your peers.  Enjoy the show, wolves!!

  • Spirit Week -- 2019We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU!!! Get ready for SPIRIT WEEK at WMS! That’s right, every day next week, students and staff are encouraged get into the SPIRIT and dress-up with the daily theme.
    .
Here’s the rundown: Monday is PJ DAY — so come dressed in your favorite APPROPRIATE jammies; Tuesday is TWIN DAY — so dress like your doppleganger; Wednesday is WINTER WHITE OUT DAY — so dress in white from head-toe; Thursday is BOOK or MOVIE CHARACTER DAY — paying tribute to our favorite fictional characters; and finally, Friday is our favorite holiday tradition: UGLY SWEATER DAY — the tackier the better. Get into the school spirit on Spirit Week, wolves — and BE A PART OF THE PRIDE!!
    .
  • Tis the Season for Giving Back to Your Community! WMS is sponsoring a Holiday Food Drive for the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Students and staff are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items — which will all go to deserving families in our community. Collection boxes are located outside of the library, cafeteria, gym and auditorium — from now next Tuesday. See Ms. Scott with any questions. Together, we can make a difference!
    .
  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Wielechoski in the office with any questions.
    .
  • And finally — Let’s flash back to NATS BASEBALL!  It was a big year for the home town team — capturing its first title in franchise history.   And student-reporters Nathan E. and Jack R. learned just how important that win was to our local fans.  Roll tape!
