  • It’s an EARLY RELEASE DAY, which means we’ll be following an adjusted schedule this morning.  Please be aware that there is NO Wolf Time today, and all students should proceed directly to first period after the Morning Announcements.  Enjoy the short day, Wolves!

  • It’s better to GIVE than to RECEIVE!  The WMS Kindness Club is helping the Arlington Police Department with a new charity this year, called “Fill the Cruiser – Holiday Toy Drive.”  Students and staff are encouraged to bring in NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts between now and December 20th, all of which will be given to APS students in need this holiday season.  Grade-level donation bins are located in the library.  So now, let’s see which grade — 6, 7, or 8 — has the most GENEROUS holiday spirit. As of today, it’s the 7th grade in the lead — but there’s plenty of time to catch up.  Spread kindness where you may, and donate to the Toy Drive today!!

  • Hey, Williamsburg, what’s your favorite cereal?  Whether it’s Raisin Bran, Lucky Charms, Cheerios, or anything else — that box of cereal can go a long way to helping the homeless in Arlington.  Ms. Compton’s English Class is currently collecting cereal in support of A-SPAN — the Arlington Street People’s Assistance Network. Students and staff are encouraged to bring in a box or two and drop them in the “Big Blue Box” by the WMS main entrance.  Cereal will be accepted between now and next TUESDAY. After all — breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!

  • Who wants pizza? The Model UN Club will be selling pizza on FRIDAY after school, both in the main lobby and by the cafeteria.  It’s just 2-dollars for a slice and a cookie — and all money raised will go to support the Model UN and its upcoming conferences.  Come hungry!
