  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • APS Middle School Art Exhibit -- 2019 selectionsAnd now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  An incredible 19 students from the WMS Art Department have been selected to display their projects at the annual Middle School Art Exhibit — currently underway at the Syphax Education Center. The exhibit features some of the best young artists in all of APS — and their drawings, paintings, and sculptures are truly an amazing sight.

  • Spirit Week -- 2019We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU!!!  Get ready for SPIRIT WEEK at WMS!  That’s right, every day next week, students and staff are encouraged get into the SPIRIT and dress-up with the daily theme.

    Here’s the rundown: Monday is PJ DAY — so come dressed in your favorite APPROPRIATE jammies; Tuesday is TWIN DAY — so dress like your doppleganger; Wednesday is WINTER WHITE OUT DAY — so dress in white from head-toe; Thursday is BOOK or MOVIE CHARACTER DAY — paying tribute to our favorite fictional characters; and finally, Friday is our favorite holiday tradition:  UGLY SWEATER DAY — the tackier the better. Get into the school spirit on Spirit Week, wolves — and BE A PART OF THE PRIDE!!

  • The 2019 Winter Concert series continues — TONIGHT with the WMS Orchestra at 7 p.m. — and then it wraps up on FRIDAY with the entire music department performing for the school during grade-level elective periods. Get ready for some BEAUTIFUL and FESTIVE music — and support your classmates in celebration of the winter and holiday season.

  • Today is your LAST CHANCE to check-out the WMS-PTA Scholastic Book Fair in the library. There are still a ton of GREAT BOOKS from every genre just waiting to be read.  So be sure to drop by during lunch or after school — don’t forget to bring your money — and go get yourself a good book!

  • Tis the Season for Giving Back to Your Community! WMS is sponsoring a Holiday Food Drive for the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Students and staff are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items — which will all go to deserving families in our community. Collection boxes are located outside of the library, cafeteria, gym and auditorium — from now until December 17th. See Ms. Scott with any questions. Together, we can make a difference!
