Today is an EARLY RELEASE DAY at WMS, so we’ll be following a shortened B-Day schedule. Be advised that TA will end promptly at 7:58 a.m., and then you’ll proceed to periods 2, 4, 5, and 6. There is NO Wolf Time today, and dismissal is at 11:54. See your TA teacher with any questions. Hooray for the short day!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The 2019 Winter Concert series continued last night — as the WMS Chorus performed a showcase of holiday classics for a huge crowd of families, friends and community members. It was an AMAZING show. Way to go, musical wolves!! [clap].

The Winter Concert series continues TOMORROW night with the WMS Orchestra at 7 p.m. — and then on FRIDAY the entire music department will be performing for the students during their grade-level elective periods. So come support your friends and classmates as they celebrate the winter and holiday seasons with beautiful music.

Wolf Pack Pride continues with SPORTS! First up — the girls basketball team got back in the WIN column yesterday — defeating Dorothy Hamm Middle School 55 to 25. The offense was led by Julia L. with 15 points — while Kendall A. and Taylor J. “locked it down” on defense. Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap] The FINAL girls basketball home game of the season is scheduled for this Thursday against Kenmore at 3:15 — so be sure to pack the stands, root them on to victory, and be a part of the PRIDE!!

And Wolf Pack Pride wraps up with the boys soccer team — who cruised to a 5 – 0 win in the rain over Hamm. This game was a true team effort, with FIVE different players scoring goals — David M., Jeffrey C., Griffen M., Jake O., and Henry T. — while the defense notched another big shutout. With the victory, Williamsburg finishes the season in SECOND PLACE in the county. Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap].

Just TWO DAYS remain for the WMS-PTA Scholastic Book Fair in the library. There are a ton of GREAT BOOKS from every genre just waiting to be read — so be sure to drop by before school, during lunch — or before or after tonight’s Winter Concert. Don’t forget to bring your money — and go get yourself a good book!
