  • Get ready for a musical treat! The WMS “Winter Orchestra and Chorus Concert” is scheduled TONIGHT at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Come see your friends and classmates — who happen to be some of the best and most talented musicians in Arlington — as they perform the songs of the season.  The show is absolutely FREE — so come on down and enjoy! See Ms. McTavish or Mr. Lunt for more information.
    .
  • Calling all theater-lovers! It’s time to choose the WMS Spring Musical! Interested actors, singers, and dancers are invited to the “selection” meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in the auditorium.  See Mr. Brown with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Argenal in the office with any questions.
    .
  • It’s better to GIVE than to RECEIVE.  The WMS Kindness Club is helping the Arlington Police Department with a new charity this year, called “Fill the Cruiser – Holiday Toy Drive.”  Students and staff are encouraged to bring in NEW and UNWRAPPED gifts between now and December 20th, all of which will be given to APS students in need this holiday season.  Grade-level donation bins are located in the library.  So now, let’s see which grade — 6, 7, or 8 — has the most GENEROUS holiday spirit. Spread kindness where you may, and donate to the Toy Drive today!!
