  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The boys soccer team “kicked-off” its season yesterday with a DOMINANT victory at home over Gunston — 5 to 1.  8th grader Nate W. was on fire, collecting a hat-trick in the game, and the whole team contributed to the win. Way to go, soccer wolves!  [clap]

  • And here’s something else to be excited about — The end of the 1st quarter is just one week away — which means it’s almost time for the 1st quarter WOLF PAW DRAWING! That’s right — this FRIDAY during WOLF TIME, YOU could be the winner of some amazing gifts and prizes. They’re all on display in the library showcase, so come take a look. But to be eligible, you must turn-in your Wolf Paws ASAP to the grade level boxes located by the cafeteria. Good luck!!

  • Calling all dancers, musicians, writers, filmmakers, and visual artists! The PTA Reflections Contest has been EXTENDED until this FRIDAY. So put your creative genius to the test and develop a project around this year’s theme: “Within Reach.” Just get a submission form and turn-in your entry to the “Reflections” box in the library. Go to the PTA website for more information.

  • Attention Model UN Students! There will be a special guest from “Best Delegate” coming to the meeting this THURSDAY during ASP 1 in room 202.  He will run a fun activity on “negotiation skills” that you WON’T want to miss.  Also, stay tuned for updates about WOLFMUN — the first even Model UN debate being hosted right here at Williamsburg — scheduled for Saturday, November 18th.   • Sister Circle will be meeting TOMORROW during ASP 1 in room 233.  Students are asked to get there as soon as possible — because there’s a LOT to discuss this week.  See Ms. Cameron with any questions.

  • The Best Buddies Club will be meeting this FRIDAY during WOLF TIME in the cafeteria. Members and allies are invited to come make friends — and make a difference with some amazing kids.  Just get a pass either today or tomorrow from Ms. Rogers in room 108, then we’ll see you on Friday.   • Do you think you can cheer? Then let’s see what you’ve got!  The WMS Cheerleaders are gearing up for a new season.  Interested students are encouraged to come meet the coach — next THURSDAY, November 9th during ASP 1 in the Auxiliary Gym.  Learn everything you need to know about the upcoming season — and tryouts for the team.  You must have a physical on file to participate.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

  • Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera, everybody — because next MONDAY is PICTURE DAY at WMS!! Student photographs will be taken during PE class, so be sure to bring your “picture order form” with you. Extras are located in the office, or you can download a form from the WMS website.  See Ms. Argenal with any questions. Say cheese!!

  • This is YOUR WORLD — and YOU can make a difference!  The APS Office of Minority Achievement is inviting all middle school girls to the “2017 Color of Leadership Girls’ Conference” on SATURDAY, November 18th.  This full-day event at Marymount University will teach valuable leadership skills — and empower you promote change.  Transportation and lunch will be provided.  See Ms. Cameron for more information, and to register for the event.
