  • Today we will be following the “anchor” C-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today.  Again, this is an “anchor” C-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • What’s the Stitch? The WMS Sewing Club will be meeting on THURSDAY during ASP 1 and 2 in room 201. Come learn to sew, knit, crochet, cross stitch, needle point, or up-cycle old items into new ones. New members are always welcome!  See Ms. Wall for more information.
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon!  If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech. • Hey, Buddy!  The Best Buddies Club will be selling APPLE CIDER today and tomorrow outside of the cafeteria during TA.  Cider costs just 1-dollar a cup — and all of the money raised will support our Best Buddies program.  Get your cider before it’s gone.  Thanks, buddy!!

  • And now for a special message from the WMS Equity Committee:  representation MATTERS. WMS is planning a series of events and activities to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. But we need your help!!
    .
If you identify as Native American, or if you’d like to show support for this important segment of our shared community, please contact Ms. Wielechowski in room 124 or send her a message in Canvas.  Thanks for supporting Native American Heritage Month!!

  • And finally, yesterday was Election Day in America — when citizens carry out their civic duty to choose our local, state, and federal leaders.
    .
But last week, the 7th grade held their own “mock” election — so let’s see how THEIR results matched up with the real thing.  According to our students, Democratic incumbent, Don Beyer, was re-elected to the House of Representatives. For Arlington County Board, the 7th grade voted for Democrat Matt de Ferrante. And Bethany Sutton was selected as the newest member of the Arlington School Board. The 7th graders also voted “YES” to all bonds, including those for Arlington Parks and Recreation and Arlington Public Schools.
    .
And according to the latest results — ALL of those candidates were ALSO selected in the actual election:  Don Beyer, Matt de Ferrante, and Bethany Sutton all won their races, and the bonds were approved.  Thanks for voting, 7th grade — and way to go, wolves! [clap]
