  • If you’ve got leftover Halloween candy — today is your LAST CHANCE to donate it to a good cause!   The WMS Kindness Club is collecting UNOPENED Halloween candy for “Operation Gratitude” — a charitable organization that sends care packages to Veterans, First Responders, and Deployed Troops. To participate, just drop your candy in the collection bins located outside of each grade-level holding area. Once again, this is the final day of candy collection — and to help spread KINDNESS to others!

  • Listen up, 7th graders! Are you passionate about writing? Are you always making up stories or creating movies in your head? Then the WMS 7th grade “NaNoWriMo” writing team is the perfect place for YOU.  Just come to room C106 during any 7th grade lunch period during the month of November — and use the time to create, to write, and to share your ideas. Challenge yourself to WRITE for an entire month — see if you can reach a certain word count, or even draft an entire novel!  See Ms. Han or your English teacher with any questions.  And remember — writers are always RIGHT!!

  • Calling all members of the WMS boys Soccer team!  The concussion test is scheduled for TODAY right after school in room 136.  Concussion testing is MANDATORY for all players, so don’t miss it.  And if you’ve already had a concussion test on your own, be sure to tell Ms. Hogwood during your lunch period.

  • If you participate in an after school program here at Williamsburg — then we’ve got a very important announcement for YOU.  The WMS Yearbook will be taking group pictures of all WMS clubs and after school activities over the next few weeks.  First on the schedule — this Thursday during ASP 1, Yearbook will be taking pictures of the following clubs:  Model UN, Making Movies, the TSA, Wolfbots Robotics, Chess, Act 2 Art, Act 2 Choir, and Act 2 Drama. Again, if you are in any of those groups, your Yearbook picture is scheduled for TOMORROW after school.  Stay tuned for more information about additional Yearbook club pictures coming next week.
