- We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE! Williamsburg sports has a pair of big games today. First, the Boys Soccer team puts its undefeated season on the line with an away game at Jefferson Middle School. While right here in the WMS gym, the Girls Basketball team will be hosting Jefferson in the first home game of the year. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:15, and students and staff are all invited to the game. So let’s pack the stands this afternoon, and root them on to victory. Be a part of the pride!!!

- Attention WMS Model UN Club! There will be a meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 202. Participants will be finishing preparations for the upcoming GW MUN conference — and will be starting the application process for William and Mary MUN. See Ms. Carlson with any questions.

- Sister Circle will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 233. There will be a special guest speaker — and pizza! — so participants are asked to get there as quickly as possible. New members are still encouraged to come for some girl talk, fun and food. See Ms. Cameron with any questions.

- Take down, reversal, PIN! The WMS Wrestling team is gearing-up for a new season. Interested athletes are invited to an informational meeting next MONDAY during ASP 1 in the Library. Learn all about the team, practice, and upcoming matches. Remember that you must have a physical on file to participate. See Coach Hicks with any questions.

- Need help with Spanish? The Yorktown tutors are back! Come to Room WW12 next TUESDAY during ASP II and get extra help with grammar, vocab, and everything you need to succeed. Just sign up with your Spanish teacher to attend, or see Senora Stewart with any questions. Hasta pronto!

- Did you miss Picture Day last month — or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck — because “Picture Make-Up Day” is next TUESDAY in the Auditorium during TA and all grade-level PE classes. Here’s what to do: if you haven’t taken a picture yet this year, then print a “Retake Form” from the WMS website and bring it with you. OR if you’d like a NEW picture, then you must bring your unwanted picture packet with you to exchange. And remember — if you don’t take a picture, then you WON’T be included in the WMS yearbook. See Ms. Argenal in the main office with any questions. Say cheese!

- Today is the LAST DAY of the “Pennies for Puerto Rico Fundraiser” — and your last chance to help the victims of Hurricane Maria. As of the last count, we’ve raised over 300 dollars — and the 6th grade is in the lead with the most “positive points.” However, all three grade-levels still have a chance to win, and be named the “dopest do-godders” in school! So break out your piggy banks, and let’s make “change” for Puerto Rico! See Ms. Schaefer, Mr. Johnson, or Ms. Zeller with any questions.
