  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • This is a friendly reminder that all after school activities are CANCELLED today due to the start of Thanksgiving break. There will also be NO late bus this afternoon — so make sure you’ve got a way home after school. Activities and the late bus will resume in December. See Ms Hogwood with any questions.

  • Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!
    .
  • Attention 7th graders in New Media Journalism!  Please report to the Library classroom IMMEDIATELY after the Morning Announcements for an important update about your current journalism project.  Once again, New Media Journalism students should go to the LIBRARY before heading to your scheduled class.

  • Did you miss Picture Day last month — or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck — because “Picture Make-Up Day” is coming soon! On Tuesday, December 3rd, picture retakes will be taken in the Auxiliary Gym — 8th graders during TA; and 7th and 6th graders during their Wolf Time periods. If it’s your first school picture, just go on down. But if it’s a retake, then you must bring your unwanted picture packet with you to exchange. And remember — if you don’t take a picture, then you WON’T be included in the WMS yearbook. See Ms. Wielechowski in the main office with any questions. Say cheese!

  • The 2019-2020 WMS yearbook is on sale NOW!! They cost just 40-dollars — or for 55-dollars you can get the exclusive “Signature Package.” To get yours, just tell your parents to click the link on the WMS Website and complete the online order form. Or, either BEFORE or AFTER school, use your phone to scan the QR code on the Yearbook flyers posted around the school — and it will automatically send a text to your parents with the ordering info. Yearbooks sold out last year — so get yours before they’re gone. See Mr. Schonfeld with any questions. The WMS Yearbook — Don’t miss out on the memories!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  Let’s hear it for the WMS girls basketball team — who absolutely SMOKED Gunston Middle School last Thursday — 53 to 10.  The lead scorers on offense were Piper, Charlotte, Olivia, Helene, Brooke and Julia — while defenders Rae and Lauren  DOMINATED under the boards.  Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Model UN Club — who did an INCREDIBLE job at last weekend’s conference at George Washington University. Congratulations to Elijah D. Eric C., and Amelia L. for winning Best Delegate; to Jaya S. and Oliver F. for Outstanding Delegate, and to Libby S., Jacob B.G. and Dora B.G for earning a Verbal Commendation. Way to go, MUNner Wolves! [clap]
