  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • The next Kindness Club meeting is TODAY during ASP 1 in room 136. Participants will be working on the next Kindness campaign to enrich our shared community. Plus, the Kindness Club will be getting its picture taken for the WMS Yearbook on today — so don’t be late! See Ms. Pugliese, Ms. Briones, and Mr. G. with any questions.
    .
  • The Technology Student Association — aka the TSA — and the Wolfbots Robotics Club will NOT be meeting today. Meetings will resume in December following the Thanksgiving break. Once again, both the TSA and Wolfbots meetings are CANCELLED. See Mr. Dudek with any questions.
    .
  • And this is a friendly reminder that all after school activities on TUESDAY will be CANCELLED due to the start of Thanksgiving break.  There will also be NO late bus on Tuesday — so make sure you’ve got a way home after school.  Activities and the late bus will resume in December.  See Ms Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • Did you miss Picture Day last month — or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck — because “Picture Make-Up Day” is coming soon! On Tuesday, December 3rd, picture retakes will be taken in the Auxiliary Gym — 8th graders during TA; and 7th and 6th graders during their Wolf Time periods. If it’s your first school picture, just go on down. But if it’s a retake, then you must bring your unwanted picture packet with you to exchange. And remember — if you don’t take a picture, then you WON’T be included in the WMS yearbook. See Ms. Wielechowski in the main office with any questions. Say cheese!
    .
  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Wielechoski in the office with any questions.
    .
  • The 2019-2020 WMS yearbook is on sale NOW!!  They cost just 40-dollars — or for 55-dollars you can get the exclusive “Signature Package.”  To get yours, just tell your parents to click the link on the WMS Website and complete the online order form. Or, either BEFORE or AFTER school, use your phone to scan the QR code on the Yearbook flyers posted around the school — and it will automatically send a text to your parents with the ordering info.  Yearbooks sold out last year — so get yours before they’re gone.  See Mr. Schonfeld with any questions. The WMS Yearbook — Don’t miss out on the memories!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The boys soccer team played an INCREDIBLE game on the road against Gunston last Thursday.  They were down 2 to nothing late in the second half when 8th grader Alex S. scored the Wolves’ first goal of the day.  And then, with LITERALLY seconds to go, 8th grader Daniel D. blasted a beautiful shot right past the goalkeeper — and Williamsburg celebrated a fantastic come-from-behind TIE — 2 to 2.  Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]  Williamsburg is now in 2nd place in the county with 3-games left to play.  Finish strong, wolves!!
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with a piece of news that you’ve all been waiting for:  the 2020 WMS Teacher of the Year!  Students, staff and community members voted last week from a field of distinguished nominees.  But one teacher outshone all the rest.
    .
And the winner is…  Mr. Skrzypek!! Way to go, Teacher of the Year.  Mr. Skrzypek — you are truly AWESOME [clap].
