  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The WMS boys basketball season is under way — and the team came through with a BIG win against Gunston on the home court yesterday — 49 to 28.  Props to 8th graders Kirean U. for leading all scorers with 13 points, and to Chris R. for playing tremendous defense. And great job to the entire team for the dominating game.  Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap] Basketball is back in action TOMORROW against rival Swanson Middle School.  Good luck, team!

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with Girls Soccer — who played a real THRILLER against Swanson yesterday.  The back-and-forth battle ended in a 1-to-1 TIE — but Coach Girard says it was probably the best game they played all year.  8th grader Moira F. got the score for Williamsburg, and the goalie-tandem of 8th grader Sophie D. and 7th grader Julia L. played another outstanding game.  Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]. Next up on the schedule, Girls Soccer will be taking on Gunston Middle School TOMORROW on the home field.  So let’s pack the sidelines, root them on to victory, and be a part of the PRIDE!!

  • And now for an important announcement from the PE department. The weather has definitely turned this month, and it’s getting colder by the week. But you’re in luck! Right now, there is a limited supply of PE sweat suits still available. Just check with your PE teacher to see if your size is still stock. But ACT FAST — because once they’re gone, they’re gone. Don’t get left out in the cold — get your Wolf Pack PE gear TODAY!!

  • Calling all Williamsburg students and staff! Did you do anything EXCITING over the summer? And more importantly, did you get any good PICTURES? The WMS Yearbook will be introducing a new section this year featuring summer vacation photos.  If you’ve got a good one, please email it to Ms. Kontos as soon as possible — or stop by her room for more information.  Thanks for the memories!!

  • Listen up, ballers! Students who’d like to play Girls Basketball are invited to the “open gym session” on THURSDAY during ASP 1 in the WMS gym. Work on your skills, meet other players, and get some one-on-one instruction with the coach! See Ms. Sutphin with any questions.
