  • The Student Services Staff will be hosting a special assembly TODAY for all 3-grade levels. 8th grade at 8:45; 7th grade at 11; and 6th grade at 1. The presentation will be conducted by “Hope and Love,” a suicide prevention and anti-bullying organization. Students are asked to go to your elective classes first for attendance, and then your teacher will escort you to the auditorium. See your grade-level counselor with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The boys Ultimate Frisbee team was absolutely UNCONSCIOUS on Thursday — winning ALL THREE GAMES against TJ Middle School:  the 6th grade won 9 to 2; the 7th grade won 10 to 3; and the 8th grade won 9 – 8, coming from behind and winning on the final throw.  Props all around to the offense AND defense for getting it done.  Way to go, frisbee wolves!! [clap].  Ultimate Frisbee takes on HB this THURSDAY for the County Championship — so let’s root them on to victory, and be a part of the PRIDE!!

  • And by the way Frisbee Team — there is NO Ultimate practice today.  But pay attention to your Ultimate Google Classroom for updates on the match against HB this Thursday.

  • Be kind to one another! The WMS Kindness Club will be meeting next TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room 201. All are welcome — new and old — as participants plan for several upcoming programs of kindness. See Ms. Schaefer, Ms. Zeller, or Mr. Johnson with any questions.

  • Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!

  • Calling all math lovers! Math Counts will meet TODAY and every TUESDAY during ASP 1 in room WW 1. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are invited to do math problems, play math games, and perform many other math activities. It’s all math — all the time at Math Counts!! See Mr. Mencarini for more information.

  • And now for an important announcement from the PE department.  The weather has definitely turned this month, and it’s getting colder by the week.  But you’re in luck!  Right now, there is a limited supply of PE sweat suits still available. Just check with your PE teacher to see if your size is still stock.  But ACT FAST — because once they’re gone, they’re gone.  Don’t get left out in the cold — get your Wolf Pack PE gear TODAY!!

  • And finally this morning, today is World Kindness Day!  It’s a chance for everyone to focus on being “kinder” to one another. Because sometimes — even the smallest acts of kindness can have a HUGE impact on the world around us.  Be sure to check out the TV screen by the cafeteria for “24 ways you can be kind today.”  And stay tuned for a short video on how YOU can “color your world” with kindness.
