  • Despite the unexpected day off last Friday — we will NOT be having an A-Day today.  Instead, we will resume our daily routine with the  B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • The day-off has also forced us to push-back the 1st Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing — which has now been rescheduled for this FRIDAY during TA.  Again, the Wolf Paw Drawing will now be conducted on Friday morning.  And if you’d like a sneak-peak at the prizes, go check-out the display case by the library.

  • The 7th grade seminar for the Citizenship Portfolio has been rescheduled — it will now be held this FRIDAY during the 7th grade lunch period.  All 7th graders who signed-up are asked to get your lunch and iPad and proceed as quickly as possible to your assigned American Studies classroom on Friday so the seminar can get started.  Mr. Feeney, Mr. McDermott, and Mr. Peacock look forward to seeing you there!  If you have any other questions, please see your instructor.
    .
  • Calling all 7th grade writers! Are you passionate about writing? Are you always making up stories or creating movies in your head? Join the 7th grade NaNoWriMo writing team, during lunch in room C106, to create, write, and share ideas. You can challenge yourself to write a certain word count and even draft an entire novel in just one month! See Ms. Han or your English teacher for any details or questions.
    .
  • Calling all Best Buddies!  The Best Buddies field trip to the International Spy Museum is scheduled for December 4th — but members are reminded to turn-in your permission slips by November 20th at-the-latest in order to participate.  The field trip is certain to be a blast — so you won’t want to miss it.  See Ms. Parris with any questions.  Thanks, buddy!!

  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Wielechoski in the office with any questions.
