  • Parent-Teacher Conferences are TONIGHT!! These conferences are STUDENT-led, which means that you kids will be doing most of the talking. So be sure to think about your goals, your challenges, and your strategies for success – and be ready to share. Check with your TA teacher for your exact meeting time – Thursday evening from 5 to 8 P.M., and Friday from 7:30 to noon.
  • There are just TWO DAYS left for the WMS-PTA Book Fair — but there’s still PLENTY of good books to choose from! Fiction and non-fiction; sci-fi and fantasy; mystery and adventure — plus graphic novels, puzzles, knick-knacks and more! The Book Fair will remain open during Parent-Teacher Conferences TONIGHT — and then again TOMORROW until noon. Books are AWESOME!
  • Attention Model UN Students! There is a meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room 202. All “Conference Commitment Forms” MUST be signed and returned by that time. See Mrs. Carlson for a new form or with any questions.

Discovery needs middle school VOLUNTEERS to help make PumpkinFest a success. Interested students are encouraged to sign-up in the main office.
  • And speaking of pumpkins– the Leo Club is holding a pumpkin sale TODAY after school in the parking lot by the cafeteria. Pumpkins are just 5-dollars each, and all money raised will go to the American Red Cross to help Syrian and Ukrainian refugees. Come on out and get a pumpkin, you bumpkin!!
  • The WMS Girls Ultimate Frisbee Team fought the good fight yesterday — but came up just short in a 5 to 7 loss to Kenmore. Claire H. led the way for the Wolves, with 3-goals and 7-blocks. They’ll be going for their first win next TUESDAY at H.B.
