  • The WMS-PTA Book Fair is officially OPEN!! 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will all have a chance to visit with their English classes — but anyone is welcome to stop by from Monday to Friday either before school or during your lunch period.  Plus on Thursday and Friday, your parents are invited to the “after-hours” Book Fair during Parent-Teacher Conferences.  So don’t forget to bring your money — and get yourself a good book!

  • And now for some WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS Debate Team had a LOT to say at its first tournament of the year this weekend.  Debaters Bella R. and Abby F. shined in the competition, and got great feedback from the judges.  Both are looking to do BIG THINGS this season.  Way to go, debating wolves!! [clap]. And here’s some more good news:  there’s still time for interested students to join the Debate Team!  Just see Ms. Jones in room 1A6 for more information, and check out the team practices on MONDAYs after school at Yorktown.

There will be music and dancing to a live DJ, great food, a photo booth, games, raffles, and plenty of great prizes. And be sure to wear “brightly colored clothes” to match our neon theme. And the TA in each grade with the most donations wins a TA breakfast! So do your part and be kind those in need. Together, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
