  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • It’s “time” to choose your first Wolf Time rotation!  There’s a host of activities that your teachers have planned for you during Wolf Time this year — and YOU get to pick your favorites.  6th, 7th and 8th graders are all asked to complete their Wolf Time Selection forms during TA today.  And then your first rotation will begin on October 18th.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Another reminder about PE uniforms!  Long story short: they’re still not here.  According to the vendor, labor shortages and supply chain problems are causing the delay.  So everyone is asked to please be patient and understanding as we try to get your orders filled.

  • Attention all singers and theatre-lovers!  The WMS Act II Chorus and Drama classes started up this week — but there’s still time to sign-up if you’d like to join!  These classes meet twice a week after school, and grades DO count on your report card.  Interested students are asked to complete the Google Form on the Act II tab of the WMS website — even if you signed-up at the Activities Fair.  See Ms. Hogwood OR the Act II teachers with any questions.
    .
  • Hey, buddy!  You need a ride?  Arlington Transit will be visiting WMS TODAY with an exclusive opportunity for students.  You can purchase an iRide Smart Trip Card for just 2-dollars — which can be used to get around town on Metro and its fleet of buses.  No one is required to buy a card — but it’s a great deal if you want it.   Contact Ms. Mays in the main office with any questions.
    .
  • TOM: Attention TENNIS TEAM!!  All tennis players are asked to please complete ANOTHER Google Form on the WMS website.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but there was a “glitch” on the original version you filled out last week. So, once again, all WMS tennis players MUST fill-out another Google Form — and have it done by this FRIDAY. Contact Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • It’s nearly time for Boys Ultimate Frisbee season!  The first practice is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 12th.  All are welcome to join — whether you’re an experienced player or just starting out.  Interested athletes should sign-up beforehand using the QR code outside of the cafeteria, or just come on down to the gym next Tuesday. See Mr. Smolinski with any questions.

  • Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera — because “School Picture Day” is coming!  Portraits will be taken during PE classes on Monday, October 18th for ‘A’ Day and 5th period students; and Tuesday, October 19th for ‘B’ Day students. Remember, to place your purchase orders in advance! Be sure to get a Picture Day Order Form from your TA teacher — and say CHEESE!!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The girls Ultimate team split their double-header yesterday — shutting-out Gunston for their first win of the season; but also losing a tough match against Jefferson. 6th grader Alex W. was unstoppable in the Gunston game — even against their 8th graders. And props to 8th graders Erin M. for her highlight real catch-and-assist, and Cara G. for scoring HALF of the goals in the Jefferson game.  Way to go, ultimate wolves!! [clap]
