  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget, all students should go back to your TA for Wolf Time.  Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera!  SCHOOL PICTURE DAY is scheduled for next week — October 13th and 14th — during PE class.  Picture packages can be ordered ONLINE by going to the WMS website. See Ms. Cummings in the main office with any questions. Say cheese!!
    .
  • Covid testing will take place this FRIDAY from 11am to 1pm in the auditorium hallway. Ms. Hogwood will message you on Canvas when it’s your turn to head over.  Again, please wait to hear from Ms. Hogwood before going to Covid testing.
    .
  • Hey, buddy!! The Best Buddies Club will be hosting its first meeting of the year TOMORROW during TA in the cafeteria.  Participating students should check-in with their TA teachers first — then come on down and join the fun!  See Ms. Nance with any questions.  Thanks, buddy!!
    .
  • Let’s play some frisbee!! Girl’s Ultimate begins next TUESDAY, October 11th in the main gym after school.  There are NO TRYOUTS — just complete the sign-up form outside of the cafeteria and be there for the first session next week. See Mr. Smolinski with any questions.
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS tennis team took on Gunston last Tuesday and swept every single match!!  Props to Micheal K. for running his opponent ragged; to Kat. T. for serving up multiple aces; and to Asher and Duc for getting the job done quickly in the cold. Way to go, tennis wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Girls soccer team — who earned their first win of the season on Tuesday with a 7 to 1 thumping of Gunston. It was a great team effort — as SIX different players scored goals, and every player made important contributions. Special shout out to 7th grader Katie P with 1 goal and 3 assists; and 8th grader Lily S. with 2 goals and 1 assist.  Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • One last Wolf Pack Pride for the Boys Ultimate team, who split their games against Gunston on a cold and wet Monday afternoon.  The 8th graders lost a heart-breaker in a ‘next point wins’ game that took close to 10-minutes to complete.  Meanwhile, the 6th and 7th graders DOMINATED in a lopsided victory.  The wind gusts made the score look close, but there was no doubt which team had more consistent throws and a better understanding of the rules. Way to go, ultimate wolves!! [clap]
