  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget, all students should go back to your TA for Wolf Time.  Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • The WMS Helping Hands club will be holding its first meeting TODAY in the Library Wolf Den during ASP 1.  Helping Hands focuses on community service, helping our neighbors in need, and supporting local non-profits. All students in all grades are welcome to join! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all students! Are you interested in helping with the pep rally and planning WMS spirit days? If so, then come to the SCA meeting this TUESDAY in room C106 during ASP 1.  You can make a real difference in this school!  See Ms. Martin or Ms. Board with any questions.
    .
  • Ready, set, READ!!  The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting this TUESDAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So if you love to read, then just bring your lunch and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!! See Ms. Tan with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the LATE bus. If you’re ever planning to take the LATE BUS after school — you MUST have a signed bus pass for both ASP1 and 2.  If you do not have a pass — you will NOT be allowed to ride the late bus.  Again — the pass must be SIGNED for both ASP1 and 2 in order to ride the Late Bus.  See your grade-level administrator with any questions.
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS Tennis team continued its winning ways with a 5 to 0 victory over Kenmore last Thursday.  Big props to Conor, Micheal and Duc for their first wins of the season, and to the whole team for their great play. Way to go, tennis wolves!!
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Boys Ultimate team. They had a trio of matches against TJ last Wednesday.  The weather conditions were very tough — with gusty winds making throwing extremely difficult.  But the 6th grade team had some fast breaks and notched a win — 5 to 3.
    .
The 7th grade team fought hard in their game, but struggled to score in the red-zone — losing by a final score of 5 to 1.  And the 8th grade team played the most exciting game of the season, coming back multiple times while staying cool, calm, and collected.  But on the last play of the game, they fell INCHES short from scoring the game winner — losing 10 to 11.
    .
Regardless of the final score, it was non-stop excitement from start to finish with high-level offensive skills on full display.  Way to go, ultimate wolves!! [clap]
