  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • It’s “Red Ribbon Week” here at WMS!!  Red Ribbon Week was created following the heroic efforts of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena — who took down a multimillion-dollar drug ring in Mexico in 1985, but sadly he paid the ultimate price.
    .
Today, we honor Agent Kiki by raising AWARENESS about the dangers of drug use, and to educate young people in our community about drug-free activities.
    .
Thanks to all the students and staff who wore RED for today’s theme —  Proud to be Drug Free!!  And here’s what’s on tap for this week:  we’ll have Red Ribbon Week TRIVIA during lunch today and tomorrow — and be sure to listen close to the Morning Announcements for clues; there’s a RAFFLE on Wednesday and Thursday; and we’ll be creating drug-free SLOGANS on Friday.
    .
And please be sure to wear TIE DIE for tomorrow’s theme:  Say Peace Out to Drugs!
    .
Thanks for putting the W-in-Everything — and for staying DRUG FREE!!
    .
  • Calling all students!  The Counseling Department will be hosting a series of presentations during Health and PE this week.  So EVERYONE is asked to bring your iPad to class. Once again, all Health and PE students should bring their iPad to class.
    .
  • She shoots, she scores! Tryouts for the WMS Girls Soccer team are scheduled to begin TODAY on the turf fields.  Athletes are reminded to sign-up using the QR code by the Activities Board or outside of room 116.  See Coach Treble with any questions.
    .
  • Attention all Ultimate players! Unfortunately, there is not enough room on the team bus for everyone to make the trip to TJ for today game.  Please check your Canvas inbox or the Activities Board by the cafeteria to see if you’ve been selected to travel for today’s game. Participating athletes should leave their classes today at 2:20 and meet at the main entrance, where the bus will be departing at 2:30.  See Mr. Smo with any questions.
    .
  • PE Fall Gear Sale, 2023-2024The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business!  From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirt, joggers, or leggings through the online store.  It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.  See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The boys Ultimate team won three of four games against Dorothy Hamm last Wednesday.
    .
While the 8th grade team lost a close one, both 6th grade teams won by double digits, and the 7th grade won by a very comfortable margin.  Way to go, Ultimate Wolves!!
