And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Thanks to all the students and staff who wore their jammies to school today — in support of Red Ribbon Week and keeping our community drug-free. The Red Ribbon celebration continues tomorrow with TEAM JERSEY DAY; then next Monday is SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY; Tuesday is CRAZY HAIR & SOCKS DAY; next Wednesday is RED CLOTHING DAY; and finally next Thursday is SUPERHERO DAY. Take the pledge to live a drug-free life — and BE A PART OF THE PRIDE!!

ELIJAH: Jump on the bandwagon, everybody — because the home-town Nationals are in the WORLD SERIES! Let’s get right to it: The National WIN! That’s right, they took game one of the series on the road against the Houston Astros last night — 5 to 4 — behind a gritty pitching performance from “Mad” Max Scherzer, and a HUGE game from 20-year old “phenom” Juan Soto. Can they keep the momentum going? Pitching ace Stephen Strasburg takes the mound tonight in game 2 — it’ll be one to watch. LET’S GO NATS!!!!

Calling all TSA and Robotics members. There will NOT be any meetings this week. Once again, the TSA and Robotics meetings for Thursday have been CANCELLED. Regular meetings for both will resume next week. See Mr. Dudek with any questions.

All members of the WMS Tennis Team are reminded to return your WMS tennis shirts as soon as possible — but PLEASE don’t forget to wash them first!!! Again, return your LAUNDERED tennis shirts to Mr. Seeger in room 202 — before school, during lunch, or after the final bell.

Attention 6th graders — It’s time to GET DOWN and BOOOOOOOO-gie! Just in time for Halloween, the WMS Spook-tacular Dance Party is coming at you — courtesy of the WMS PTA. The 6th grade party is scheduled for next TUESDAY, October 29th — during ASP 1 and 2 in the cafeteria — so you can still take the late bus home. There will be food, a DJ, dancing, games, raffles, prizes and more. And please — despite the Halloween theme — NO COSTUMES. Trick or Treat, wolves!!

Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “Look Within.” Just pick up an application from the Library, and submit your project by October 28th.

And finally today — Tell your parents! Arena-style conferences are THIS WEEK — Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and Friday from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. No appointment is necessary, just come on in and have a chat. What could be better — your parents and teachers, alone in a room, talking about YOU. Hooray for Parent-Teacher Conferences!!!
