  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!  The WMS Model UN team had an AMAZING showing at HAMUN last weekend — racking up 13 awards including 5 Best Delegates! Way to go, MUNner wolves!! [clap]  The next Model UN meeting will be TODAY during ASP 1 in room C105  — but ONLY for participants in the upcoming McMUN debate this Saturday.  See Mr. Peacock with any questions.

  • Cross-over dribble — pump-fake — jump shot — nothing but NET! The WMS girls Basketball team is getting ready for the new season. The last day of tryouts is scheduled TODAY after school in the main gym. And don’t forget — you must have a physical on file to participate. See Mrs. Warden in room 115 with any questions.   • Are YOU ready to help make Williamsburg a KINDER place? The WMS Kindness Club will be hosting its first meeting of the year — TODAY during ASP 1 in room 136. Participants will work on a range of projects and activities throughout the year that “promote positivity” and “spark joy” in every member of our shared community. See Ms. Pugliese, Ms. Briones, or Mr. G with any questions. Be kind to one another, wolves!!

  • Put on your shin guards and cleats, because it’s time to play soccer! Tryouts for the WMS boys soccer team will be THIS WEEK after school. Here’s the schedule: 7th graders tryout TODAY; 6th graders on TUESDAY; and finally 8th graders on THURSDAY — all on the turf fields from 2:30 to 4. Come dressed and ready to play — and remember that you need a physical on-file to participate! Interested athletes should sign-up on the activity board outside of the cafeteria. Last month, WMS welcomed over a THOUSAND parents to “Back to School Night” — giving them a first-hand look at what their kids do everyday. WOLF-TV student reporters Olivia S. and Nathan E. were on the scene — and got the inside scoop on Back to School Night.
  • And speaking of parents — Arena-style conferences are THIS WEEK — Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and Friday from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. No appointment is necessary, just tell your parents come on in and have a chat. What could be better — your parents and teachers, alone in a room, talking about YOU.  Hooray for Parent-Teacher Conferences!!!
