  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Calling all TAs!  Immediately following today’s Morning Announcements, everyone will be taking a “mini vocab” lesson to prepare you for the Panorama SEL Survey that you’ll be taking next week. The lesson should only take a few minutes, so please give it your full attention.

  • Halloween Candy Final Four, 2022Who wants CANDY???  We’re down to the Halloween Candy FINAL FOUR! It’s Kit Kat versus Twix, and Skittles versus Sour Patch Kids!  To cast your vote, just go to the Library Canvas Course — and we’ll have the results next Friday.  May the best candy win!!

  • TONIGHT and TOMORROW are parent-teacher conferences. Families can register using “Sign-Up Genius” and will meet on MS Teams.

  • Calling all students and staff!  Next Tuesday and Wednesday, WMS will recognize Red Ribbon Week — the largest drug abuse prevention campaign in the Nation. The campaign began in 1985 following the death of DEA Agent Enrique “Ki Ki” Camarena — and commemorates his sacrifice.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  WMS competed in the singles portion of the County Championship at Bluemont Park yesterday — and we have another winner!  7th grader Leah W. took home the championship by defeating TJ in the finals:  6 to 1.  Congratulations on the big win! [clap]

    And props to Conor C. and Avaani J. for making it all the way to the quarterfinals.  Overall, the tennis team went UNDEFEATED this year — and Coach Mencarini is so proud of every one of you.  Way to go, tennis wolves!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Girls Soccer team — who lost a close one to Dorothy Hamm yesterday:  3 to 1.  8th grader Lily S. scored the goal, and EVERYONE played tough to the final whistle.
    .
    Girls soccer finishes its season with a 4, 1 and 3 record — placing SECOND in the county.  Congrats on a great year.  Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • And finally, next Monday is Diwali — an important cultural and religious holiday celebrated by over a BILLION people all over the world!
