Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera — because it’s time for School Pictures!! Portraits will be taken during PE classes TODAY for all ‘B’ Day students. Faculty and staff are ALSO reminded to get their pictures taken, too! And just in case you miss them this week, we’ll be having a Picture Make-Up Day on November 30th. Don’t forget to place a purchase order — and say CHEESE!!

And now for an important announcement for all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel — this week you will be rotating to your NEW exploratory class. So be sure to check your StudentVue to make sure you know where to go. Again, the new Wheel classes for B-Day 6th graders begin today.

An important announcement for all TENNIS PLAYERS competing in today’s County Tournament — Students attending the tennis tournament today MUST message Ms. Hogwood in Canvas ONLY if you need a bus from Bluemont back to Williamsburg following the match!

Calling all MUNners!! The WMS Model UN Club will be meeting TODAY during ASP 1 in room C105. Participants will be wrapping-up their first conference — so you don’t want to miss it! See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

Attention, technology wolves!! The Technology Student Association — a.k.a. the TSA — will NOT be meeting this week, but WOLFBOTS will. Once again, TSA will NOT meet this week, but Wolfbots WILL meet. See Mr. Dudek with any questions.

Dribble, shoot, nothing but net!! Tryouts for the WMS Boys Basketball team will continue TODAY and Thursday after school. Players should come ready to play!! And don’t forget to submit your physical to participate. See Ms. Warden in room 115 with any questions.

2 – 4 – 6 – 8 — who do we appreciate??? CHEERLEADERS!!! The second day of tryouts for the WMS Cheer squad are scheduled for TODAY after school in the gym. And please note — participating girls AND boys must have a physical on file. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

She shoots — she SCORES!! WMS Girls Soccer will be holding its first day of tryouts on WEDNESDAY after school on the Turf Fields. Players are reminded to wear your cleats and shin guards if you have them, bring water, and have a physical on file. See Coach Treble with any questions.

Who wants CANDY??? We’ve made it to the Halloween Candy Elite 8! Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course to cast your vote. We’ll have the results of the next round this THURSDAY — and may the best candy win!!

And finally — it’s nearly time for Parent-Teacher Conferences!! This THURSDAY from 4:30 to 7:30pm, and FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30am, parents and guardians are invited to meet VIRTUALLY with all of your teachers on MS Teams.

Just tell your folks to register for a slot using “Sign-Up Genius” through the WMS website, or ask your TA teacher for more information. Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!
