  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Attention TSA and Wolfbots!!  There was a mistake in yesterday’s announcements.  There ARE TSA and Wolfbots meetings thing week — as usual. Once again, TSA and Wolfbots are ON.  See Mr. Dudek with any questions. And sorry for the confusion!
    .
  • I hope you’ve been on your best behavior lately, because Parent-Teacher Conferences are THIS WEEK — THURSDAY from 4:30 to 7:30pm; and FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30 a.m.  Conferences will be conducted “Arena Style” — so no appointment is necessary. But they are limited to 5-minutes each. Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!
    .
  • And speaking of Parent-Teacher Conferences — Wolfbots Robotics will be hosting a fundraiser  on Thursday and Friday while the conferences are going on. They’ll be selling Technology Building Kits for ages 5 to 14.  Kits are just 20-dollars, and all money raised will go to support our Robotics program and competitions.  Be sure to tell your parents to pick one up — they’re a great gift for the upcoming holiday season!!

  • She shoots, she scores! Tryouts for the WMS Girls Soccer team are scheduled to begin next Monday, October 23rd, on the turf fields.  Athletes are reminded to sign-up using the QR code by the Activities Board or outside of room 116.  See Coach Treble with any questions.
    .
  • And now for an important announcement from the 2024 Yearbook!  If you have any good pictures of yourself and your friends from when you were little — like elementary school or younger — please email them to Ms. Briones at elizabeth.briones@apsva.us or bring them to room 136 so she can scan them.  Your pics could be featured in the Now & Then section of the Yearbook!! Thanks for your help, wolves!!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month, today is UNITY DAY here at WMS.
    .
Big shout out to all of our student and staff who dressed in ORANGE to show their support.  Thanks for standing up against bullying — and for putting the W-in-Everything!!  [clap]
    .
  • And don’t forget — TOMORROW we’re asking everyone to wear PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Pink shirts, pink pants, pink hats — the pinker the better.  Show your WOLF PACK PRIDE and ROCK YOUR PINK — TOMORROW for Breast Cancer Awareness!!
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Boys Ultimate Team — who played a pair of games against Kenmore last week. In the first game, our 6th grade team was UNSTOPPABLE.  They blanked Kenmore by a score of 24 to 0!  Props to Oren P., Sam S., and Ben Y. for their big offensive showing!
    .
And in the second game, our 7th and 8th graders had their hands full — struggling on defense early and missing several scoring chances.  But the team rallied BIG TIME — and managed a hard fought tie, 6 to 6.  Props to Sergio S., Cullen J., and Henry P. for their wonderful play.  Way to go, Ultimate Wolves!! [clap]
